Project Blackthorn is developing a public market that will provide a platform for investing in sustainability and social impact. We believe it's time for all of us, whether as individuals, communities, or through institutional investors, to be able to fund enterprises and projects that generate returns equally valuable from a financial, social, and environmental perspective.

Within 12 months we propose to operate an authorised Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) headquartered in Edinburgh to enable capital flows that will support entrepreneurship, regeneration sustainability and social purpose.

Our Offering
For Issuers
Companies will be able to issue and trade their equity and debt instruments on Blackthorn.
Listing will be subject to the approval of the admissions panel, to whom application must be made. In the first instance, the panel will pay particular attention to the applicant company's ability to articulate its theory of change.
For Investors
Access to primary markets and secondary trading for public market investors. The first release will be a cash equities market, with other instruments phased in.
For Intermediaries
Brokers, advisors, family offices and consultants will play a central role in bringing capital and listings to the exchange. We will actively engage with the intermediary community to support onboarding and engagement.
